Former Citizen TV anchor JANET MBUGUA announces her TV comeback after two years break.

Wednesday, June 12, 2019- Former Citizen TV anchor, Janet Mbugua, has announced her comeback to TV after a two year break.

The sultry-voiced media personality took to social media to announce the news of her comeback saying she is ‘excited and nervous’

The mother of two will be hosting her own show dubbed Here And Now at  NTV every Thursday.

 “So this is happening! I’m back on TV! With @ntvkenya, on Thursdays...#HereAndNow. The butterflies in my stomach are REAL, but so is my excitement! Follow @hereandnowke for details!” she wrote.

The 35-year old, quit Royal Media Services three years ago having been the face of Citizen TV for years.

On why she decided to quit despite being at the peak of her career, She explained:

The opportunity to have been a Broadcast Journalist for 10 years has been humbling and rewarding, with 5 of those years spent at Citizen TV.I know the moment is right for me to take a sabbatical; breathe, reflect, pursue my passion projects in earnest and spend time with my young family. It’s more ‘see you soon’ than ‘goodbye’
