Father of BRIAN BERA, the JKUAT student, who wanted to kill UHURU, speaks out about his son’s troubled life

Wednesday, June 12, 2019 - The father of Brian Bera, the Mechanical Engineering student at JKUAT shot while trying to sneak into State House armed with a knife, has spoken out about his son’s troubled life.

The 25-year old had threatened to kill President Uhuru in several posts on Facebook.

Speaking during an interview with a local TV station, David Bera revealed that his son had tried to take his life on several occasions.

“The boy has been very sick, mentally…the boy would disappear from home for a while and later be informed that he wanted to drown himself in a river.”

“Other times he would be found in Mt. Elgon caves so that he would disappear in there.”

“There are other times where he even wanted to climb Mt. Kenya illegally.”

Brian, who is currently admitted at Kenyatta National Hospital receiving treatment for the gunshot wound on his shoulder, claimed that God had sent him to execute judgment on “every thief and every partner of a thief”.

It has emerged that he tried to recruit a third year student at JKUAT in his mission to harm President Uhuru Kenyatta.
