Even ORENGO is hiding billions of stolen money in his house – See how he reacted after CBK said old Sh 1000 note will be obsolete from October 1

Monday June 3, 2019-Senate Minority leader, James Orengo, is among a group of politicians who have panicked over the government‘s move to phase out the old Sh 1000 note from October 1, 2019.

On Saturday Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) governor, Dr Patrick Njoroge, announced that the government will be rolling new currency and also phasing out Sh 1000 notes.

Speaking on Sunday, Orengo, who is also Siaya Senator, said the Constitution prohibits the use of a human face on the currency.

Mr Orengo said the new notes are illegal and said Kenyans should go to court to contest their circulation.
“They should ask where a human face has come from and how it has landed on the notes,”
“As a lawyer, I’ll not keep quiet when this matter is argued in court,” Orengo said.
Orengo’s sentiments were echoed by EALA MP, Simon Mbugua, who said the move is unconstitutional and threatened to go to court to oppose the directive.
