DONALD TRUMP praises UHURU and CBK Governor, Dr PATRICK NJOROGE for making Sh 1000 note obsolete from October 1- This is good news to Kenyans

Sunday June 2, 2019-United States Government has praised the Central Bank of Kenya’s move to make the current Sh1,000 note obsolete on October 1.

In a Gazette notice on Friday, CBK governor, Dr Patrick Njoroge, announced that the Sh 1000 note will cease to be a legal tender on October 1, 2019.

“To deal conclusively with these concerns, all the older Sh1000 series shall be withdrawn. By a Gazette Notice dated May 31, 2019, all persons have until October 1 to exchange those notes, after which the older Sh1000 banknotes will cease to be legal tender," Dr Njoroge said.

Now in a statement on Saturday, US ambassador to Kenya, Kyle McCarter, lauded the move saying many public servants will have hard time depositing millions they have been hiding in their homes.

"Great news. One more tool that can be used to stop the plague of thievery keeping the wananchi from the prosperity they deserve,” McCarter stated.

McCarter has previously said corrupt Kenyans will neither be allowed into the US nor pay for their children's education there.
The ambassador said the ‘big fish’ in the country get away with theft of billions whereas the common mwananchi is punished for the theft of smaller amounts.
"You cannot allow somebody to steal Sh20 billion and fine them Sh10 billion. We deal with thieves in a very brutal way, not even according to the law," he noted.

  1. The filthy new currency has the portrait of the father of the election thief vampire. this vampire must be very primitive to have the currency with impunity as his faculty. Why keep wasting our public taxes to print wrong currencies with the face of the devil, which is not accepted in the first place zombie. Zombie you are full of shit as your useless regime of the day. just pack and go to gatundu.
