Check out our tips on Algeria v Kenya AFCON clash and 8 games played today where you can make good money.

Sunday, June 23, 2019- Kenya national football side, Harambee Stars, get their 2019 AFCON up and running tonight when they take on North Africa giants, Algeria.

The Harambee Stars are after their only second ever win at the Africa Cup of Nations and they face an uphill task in their opener against the star studded Desert Warriors.

This will be the first ever meeting between the two teams in a competitive match and Kenya’s first appearance in the tournament after 15 years. Go here>>>

The last time Kenya took part in the competition was in 2004 in Tunisia where they recorded their first ever victory, a 3-0 win against Burkina Faso.

While Algeria and Senegal have been tipped to advance from  Group C that also includes Tanzania, Harambee Stars have the likes of Wanyama and Olunga in their ranks to pull a surprise.

If anything, the displays of Burundi against Nigeria and Zimbabwe against hosts Egypt have proven that no team is a pushover in this tournament. Go here>>>

That said, Algeria have in their ranks Man City ace Riyad Mahrez and Porto star, Brahimi, who will pose a great danger for the Kenyan back-line.

Harambee Stars probable starting lineup against Algeria:

Patrick Matasi, Philemon Otieno, Joseph Okumu, Musa Mohammed, Abud Omar, Victor Wanyama, Dennis Odhiambo, Ayub Timbe, Erick Johanna, Francis Kahata, Michael Olunga

Prediction: Algeria 1:1 Kenya
