BABU OWINO calls for deportation of all Chinese working in the country – Let’s see whether UHURU,RAILA and MATIANGI will order for his arrest like JAGUAR

Friday June 28, 2019-Embakasi East MP, Babu Owino, has joined a growing number of Kenyan legislators who are currently calling for the deportation of illegal Chinese traders in the country.

Speaking after standing in solidarity with Starehe MP Charles Njagua when he appeared before a Nairobi court on Friday, Babu insisted that while the manner in which Jaguar communicated might not have been the best, the point he made remains valid.

The ODM lawmaker observed that in as much as trade pacts were encouraged, small scale businesses in Kenya should be left for the locals only and not foreigners who according to Owino were flooding the country in large numbers with some already acquiring the local dialects.

Owino added that no Kenyan has been allowed to do small scale business in China as compared to Kenya were officials have carelessly granted foreigners business permits at the expense of the Kenyan traders.

He urged the DCI to release the Starehe Member of Parliament since he had not committed any offense rather representing the interests of his constituents.

Jaguar is still in police custody after he was arrested on Monday after he ordered the deportation of Chinese and Tanzanians working in Gikomba Market.

Jaguar was detained at Kileleshwa Police Station until Tuesday next week when the magistrate will rule on his bail application.
