Tuesday, June 18, 2019 - KTN senior political affairs reporter, Ben Kiliti, is a father again after his wife, Amina Mude, delivered a bouncing baby boy.

Kitili announced on social media the arrival of the baby who they named Roman Hami Kitili.

Another rock for my sling. Roman Hami Kitili,” wrote Kitili, explaining that the baby boy is named after his great great grandfather who had 33 wives.

“He isnamed Kitili after his grandfather and great, great grandfather, Kitili wa Muthengi, a legend who had 33 wives.”

This is their second baby after 4-year old Ruby.

The veteran journalist married his Muslim wife, Amina, last year amid controversy with a section of Muslims accusing Amina of going against Islam after she married a Christian.

However, Kitili was not moved and took to social media to tell off those against the marriage.

He wrote:

“To all my Muslim and Somali brothers and sisters, especially my shemejis from Wajir; thanks a lot for your kind words and great reception..

“To those who are not so welcoming, we forgive you..you have a right to your opinion as long as you don’t cross the line..God is more important than religion..”
