Wednesday May 15, 2019-Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Secretary General, Edwin Sifuna, has said no instant punitive measure will be taken against Turkana Governor Josphat Nanok over his recent endorsement for Deputy President William Ruto's 2022 presidential bid.

Speaking in Lokichar on Saturday , Nanok, who is in office courtsey of ODM , said that he will join the remaining 14 Governors from Rift Valley in aiding Ruto become President in 2022.

Sifuna now says that unless the party's members in the county write a formal complaint letter to the headquarters in Nairobi, then no punitive measures can be taken against the Governor.

He added that no letter has been written so far, which means that Nanok will continue enjoying his calm.

"Tuko na procedures. Tuko na wanachama kule Turkana na ndio tunsongoja malalamishi yao ndipo tuanze (we have out procedures. We have our members in Turkana and are still awaiting their complains before beginning the process)," he said.
