WAIGURU is breathing fire at RUTO’s man at Treasury, HENRY ROTICH, for stealing billions and pinning it on her-Demands his resignation ASAP

Wednesday May 8, 2019-Kirinyaga Governor, Anne Waiguru, has demanded the resignation of Treasury CS Henry Rotich and IFMIS Director, Jerome Ochieng, over reports that her county spent money on State House affairs in the 2017-2018 financial year.

In a press release sent to media houses, Waiguru refuted the claims stating that her County Government followed the right procedures and generated the correct reports from IFMIS from the period in question.

According to Waiguru, there would be no budget line for the said State House Affairs in the budget allocation report at County level.

The Governor stated that there was a misreporting on IFMIS that affected the expenditure in the eight counties.

She added that by IFMIS failing to take responsibility of the anomaly, public misinformation exposed County Executives and County Governments to loss of public trust, humiliation and gross embarrassment.

“One cannot overlook the intention to mislead the public, subvert transparency and accountability in public finance and create political mischief in order to hoodwink Kenyans," Waiguru stated.

She warned that Kenyans were watching the conduct of the IFMIS Director and National Treasury officials whether they looted the money in question because counties never spent them.
