UHURU is doing nothing to fight graft – Corruption fight is not to arrest KIDERO and SWAZURI- AHMEDNASIR says

Thursday May 9, 2019-Renowned city lawyer, Ahmednasir Abdullahi, has said Kenya has continued to lag behind in terms of development because of poor leadership and massive runaway graft.

Speaking during an exclusive interview on KTN News’ Point Blank show on Wednesday, the vocal lawyer said that President Uhuru Kenyatta has to step up in the fight to end graft before his term comes to an end.

Ahmednasir said fighting corruption is not the arrest of former Nairobi Governor , Dr Evans Kidero and former National Lands Commission chairman , Mohamed Swazuri.

He noted that corruption is among the major challenges this nation has been facing over decades
. He noted that lack of commitment from the side of the government is partly to blame for the loss of public resources to leaders who lack the goodwill.

Ahmednasir who is popularly known as “Grand mullah” urged President, who is completing his second and final term in office, to stand up and ensure graft is fought from all fronts before it is too late.

The lawyer, who has been very vocal on matters of national interest, said that most leaders lack the goodwill in the war against the looting of what belongs to the tax payer.
