Sunday May 5, 2019-Political analyst Herman Manyora, on Saturday, intimated that Deputy President William Ruto may endorse ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi for President in 2022.
Speaking on his YouTube channel Take it Or Leave It, Manyora stated that Ruto may give up his bid if he is overwhelmed by the pressure from the rival team over corruption.
"If Ruto realizes that he has been surrounded and cannot make it, he will most likely endorse Mudavadi, just to give the other team a hard time and a run for their money," he stated.
Manyora further added that Mudavadi was a rising star and has everything he needs to become President.
"Greatness is coming his way, he is a son to a former bigwig and will soon be great," he commented.
This comes amid the apparent widening rift between Ruto and President Uhuru Kenyatta who had promised to back his 2022 bid, but who now appears non-committal.
