Shock as Kikuyu MP KIMANI ICHUNGWA also dumps RUTO! See what he said yesterday that left the DP in tears?

Wednesday May 29, 219 - Kikuyu Member of Parliament Kimani Ichungwa has distanced himself from the Tanga Tanga faction of the ruling Jubilee Party.

Speaking on News Night on Citizen TV, Tuesday night, the MP, despite appearing close to the DP, said that he is not a member of Tanga Tanga and would rather be called a Jubilee member.

He added that he is also not aware of the existence of any group with such a name.

“No, I am a member of Jubilee Party. I don’t know about Tangatanga movement,” Ichungwa said.

The Tangatanga group consists Jubilee parliamentarians in support of Deputy President William Ruto and his 2022 presidential bid.

At the same time, Ichungwa proceeded to weigh-in on the 2018 handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Opposition leader Raila Odinga.

According to him, Raila is not honest with the handshake as President Uhuru Kenyatta would want him to be.

"The President means what he says and does what he says. On the other hand he is dealing with someone who he expects to be honest but that is not the case," he said.
