Wednesday, May 29, 2019- Police in Eldoret have launched investigations on the death of Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago’s brother.

The body of the governor’s brother was found in a building under construction at Chepkanga market on the outskirts of Eldoret town.

The body was discovered by a plumber who was fixing pipes in the building and Police suspect he may have been murdered and his body dumped there.

 The plumber was looking for a tin when he walked to the area under construction and found the body of a well-dressed man,” said Jeremiah Rotich, the proprietor of the building.

Several people have been questioned by police according Moiben Deputy County commissioner Lilian Langat.

“The body was found in an abandoned section of the building and police are carrying out the investigations so that we get to know exactly what happened,” said Langat.

The deceased was an employee of the Kenya Pipeline and had been working in Kisumu but was recently transferred to Eldoret.
