See what WETANGULA told KHALWALE over the Sh400 million gold scam? Like it or not, RAILA and MATIANG’I are going down with him

Thursday May 30, 2019-Former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has sensationally claimed that he talked to his former party leader Moses Wetangula after the audio that allegedly linked him to the fake gold saga was leaked.

Speaking on KTN's Point Blank show on Wednesday, Khalwale said that Wetangula told him in a phone conversation that the whole issue about the fake gold is not true.

"He told me...we are going to meet with you and I will explain to you that this thing, the whole of it, is not true," Khalwale said.

Khalwale, however, noted that he has no reason to believe Wetangula given that the investigative agencies in the country have confirmed that there is a problem.

The outspoken politician maintained that he believes President Uhuru Kenyatta was not involved because his deputy William Ruto already exonerated him.

However, he argued that he is still not convinced that Opposition chief Raila Odinga was not involved in the saga especially after the former premier noted that he was the whistleblower.

"The former Prime Minister Raila Odinga said he was the whistleblower and I want to thank him for this. He also categorically said that he was the one who told the Arabs that the voice was not for Matiang'i. Could he please share that audio with the public," said Khalwale.

He added that Interior CS Fred Matiang'i has a case to answer as far as explaining why GSU officers were manning the building where the purported gold was seized.
