Nairobi Governor, MIKE SONKO in deep trouble after EACC detectives raid his offices - AG reveals he has stolen Sh 20 billion in less than 2 years

Wednesday May 8, 2019 - Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) detectives have today raided City Hall in search of documents that could help ascertain corruption allegations against Nairobi County.

According to a report by the Auditor General, Edward Ouko, Nairobi Governor, Mike Sonko, cannot account for Sh 20 billion that he was given by Treasury between 2017 and 2018.

During the detective’s raid, Sonko’s goons tried to stop investigators from collecting information that may lead to the conviction of the flamboyant Governor who claimed on Tuesday that he is worth Sh 38 billion.

There was also an hour-long scuffle in Sonko’s office and his secretary was finally driven to the EACC offices.

Sources confirmed that key documents were also taken from the office by the detectives.
Acting Nairobi County Secretary, Pauline Kahiga, is said to be the woman behind the embezzlement of billions of shillings meant for development of Nairobi.

Kahiga is said to have irregularly withdrawn Sh 6 billion and held an undisclosed account of Sh3 billion in an offshore bank.

She is a close confidante of the corrupt Governor.

“It is just a matter of time before we put this woman in jail,” said an EACC detective.
