Kenya needs a revolution! See how a sick Magistrate gave WAITITU anticipatory bail of Sh 500, 000 after being bribed - MARAGA should be ashamed!!

Wednesday May 29, 2019 - The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) is currently investigating the anticipatory bail issued to Kiambu Governor, Ferdinand Waititu, last Thursday.

Last week, the corrupt Governor was arrested for misappropriating Sh 558 million from his County but he was unexpectedly released by the Magistrate who was on a sick leave.

The commission said on Wednesday it received information the bail was issued by Kiambu Principal Magistrate, Brian Khaemba, who was on a sick leave.

In a shallow and hopeless ruling, Khaemba declared that the affidavit presented to the court by Waititu’s lawyer, Ashiolya Biko, met all the requirements for anticipatory bail.

EACC Chief Executive Officer, Twalib Mbarak, said the commission received credible information that Khaemba was on a sick off last Thursday and had appeared just to hear the application before leaving.

According to sources, Khaemba was induced by Waititu’s men to give the Governor anticipatory bail of sh 500,000.

Mbarak said they will investigate the magistrate and also write to the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) to investigate him.
