Monday May 6, 2019 - Former Machakos Senator, Johnson Muthama, is back with a loud bang after several months of being out of the public limelight.

Speaking at Katwanyaa AIC church in Machakos, Muthama vowed to make Machakos Governor, Alfred Mutua, his agenda for looting the County dry.

He asked the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) to arrest Governor Mutua over graft allegations.

Muthama vowed to marshal Machakos residents to go and arrest Mutua if the EACC fails to do so.

He accused Mutua of allocating funds in many projects in the County that cannot be seen on the ground terming it massive corruption. 

He also said that he has evidence and he is willing to forward it to EACC and the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) to aid in Mutua’s corruption investigation.

The former Senator also urged President Uhuru Kenyatta to work with all leaders in the country for unity purposes.

“If Uhuru takes the route of unity without sidelining anybody, he will leave a legacy for himself and peace for the country,” he said.
