Thursday May 2, 2019-Self-proclaimed National Resistance Movement (NRM) general, Miguna Miguna, has said the last year’s handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and National Super Alliance (NASA) leader, Raila Odinga has not benefited Kenyans.
Commenting on social media on Wednesday, Miguna who is still in deportation in Canada, also said it is wrong for Kenyans to compare Raila Odinga with late former South African President Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela.
Miguna claimed Raila handshake with Uhuru cannot be compared to what Mandela did to apartheid regime when he was released from prison in 1990.
He noted that Mandela cooperated with the government of the day because he cared about his people.
“Don't compare Mandela with @RailaOdinga. Mandela's handshake ended apartheid, made Mandela the first African President and resulted in the release of all political prisoners. Raila's handchieth strengthened @JubileePartyK's reign of terror led to our torture, death and exile,” Miguna wrote.
He also asked Kenyans to revote against the Jubilee regime since it being led by corrupt leaders led by Uhuru and Raila.
