I will arrest UHURU and RAILA ODINGA if they are involved in fake gold scam - DCI GEORGE KINOTI swears and names WETANGULA as chief suspect!

Monday May 20, 2019-Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI), George Kinoti, has vowed to nail every criminal who is involved in the Sh 4 billion fake gold scam.

The criminals, who were all Kenya nationals conned United Arab Emirates ruler, Sheikh Al Maktoum Sh 4 billion on pretext that they were selling him 4.5 tonnes of gold from Democratic Republic of Congo.

The criminals led by Bungoma Senator, Moses Wetangula, have also mentioned names of President Uhuru Kenyatta and National Super Alliance (NASA) leader, Raila Odinga.

Now addressing a press conference on Monday, Kinoti said his boys are probing Wetangula especially the audio clip where he mentioned Raila and Uhuru.

“The syndicate involves high and mighty across the world. But rest assured, I will nail each and every criminal involved in this fake gold scandal. Ali Zhadi of Dubai is among so many others who have been scammed by these criminals,”Kinoti said.

He noted that he cannot confirm anything else until his team determines the truth behind the alleged conversation between the senator, and a gold merchant presumably from UAE.

Kinoti said that several officers from his department are involved in the process as they seek to unmask the faces behind what is believed to be a business deal.
