How Shalom Hospital staff killed a journalists’ 7 month old baby - These people should be in Kamiti.

Monday, May 06, 2019 - The death of an infant at Shalom Hospital has brought to the fore the issue of negligence among medics.

The seven-month old baby, who is the son to KBC journalist Jonathan Muendo, died at the private facility after a nurse injected him with a wrong medication.

This comes days after  a video clip went viral in which a pregnant woman was seen seated struggling to give birth on the floor as the nurses enjoyed a cup of tea while recording her.

The said nurses have since been arrested.

Following public outrage, the facility located in Athi River, Machakos County has been shut down pending investigation.

Machakos Governor, Alfred Mutua, announced its closure and made shocking revelations.
