How Kenyan BRAEBURN educated student lied to ELLEN DEGENERES that she is from a poor family in Kenya and got Ksh 5Million.

Friday, May 03, 2019- A Kenyan student in the US by the name Achieng Agutu is the latest beneficiary of popular American comedian, Ellen Degeneres’s generosity.

During Thursday night’s Ellen Show, the comedian revealed that she had spotted Achieng Agutu dancing right before the show began, and offered to host her as a guest.

The 21-year old went on to narrate how she has been struggling to survive in the US revealing that in addition to a full time job, she also has several part time jobs; among them as a babysitter, house cleaner, Uber driver and English teacher.

She also said that her parents back in Kisumu Kenya had been forced to sell land and take loans to pay for her education.

It would later emerge that Ellen had actually flown her parents and her brother based in South Africa to US and were re-united on the show before walking away with a cool Ksh5 million.

However, Achieng’s claims that she comes from a poor background in Kenya has not gone down well with many given the fact that she’s Braeburn educated-a school where students pay annual fees of around Ksh2.7 million.

From her linkedIn page, Achieng attended Braeburn International School between 2009 and 2012.
