Ex-IEBC’s AKOMBE drops a bomb on the secret behind Huduma Namba and why UHURU/MATIANGI are forcing Kenyans-See what they are planning to do with our names? This should worry everyone

Saturday May 18, 2019-Former commissioner of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), Roselyne Akombe, is suspicious of the ongoing Huduma Namba mass registration.

Venting on Twitter as President Uhuru Kenyatta extended registration deadline by one more week from this Sunday, Akombe alleged that the Government was planning to sell data collected through NIIMS to top corporations.

"... and the race to control Big Data and sell it to the highest corporate bidder continues... #HudumaNamba," Akombe tweeted.

Akombe has been very critical of various state projects and programmes since she left the country about two years ago.

She joins other prominent Kenyans who have been skeptical about the Huduma Namba and include, lawyer Miguna Miguna, economist David Ndii, politician Martha Karua among others.

The listing was to be closed on May 17 but President Uhuru Kenyatta extended the exercise by a week to ensure more Kenyans are entered into the National Integrated Identity Management System (NIIMS).

"Kenyans are determined to register for their Huduma Namba [so] I have obliged to the numerous requests to give them an opportunity to do so," Uhuru said on Friday.
