DCI detectives raid Kileleshwa house owned by fake gold scammers and drug dealers (PHOTOs)

Monday, May 13, 2019 - DCI detectives have continued their crackdown on drug dealers and fake gold fraudsters after raiding a house in Kileleshwa and arrested 15 suspects.

The detectives confiscated several black metal boxes thought to contain fake gold bars.

Eight cars including a Mercedes Benz and a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado were impounded and towed to Kilimani Police Station.

Confirming the arrest, DCI wrote on twitter:

Early today,@DCI_Kenya Detectives from the Serious Crime Unit raided a house at Kaputei Gardens & confiscated various items including vehicles & suspected fake #gold, used to defraud unsuspecting members of the public. Fifteen suspects arrested. Further investigations are ongoing.”
