Wednesday May 15, 2019-Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya has confirmed that he will be on the ballot gunning for the Presidency in the upcoming 2022 polls.
Speaking during an interview on Citizen TV's News Night show on Tuesday night, Oparanya told the doubting Thomases to wait and see come 2022.
"Yes, I am running for President in 2022," he said.
The County Boss added that he will be seeking the seat on an Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) ticket where he is currently the co-deputy party leader under Opposition chief Raila Odinga.
Surprisingly, ODM is the same party that Raila Odinga intends to make his final stab at the Presidency after failing severally and it would be interesting to see how that plays out.
