ANN WAIGURU breaks silence after she was linked to UHURU’s State House! See what she said after she used Kirinyaga money for State House affairs?

Wednesday May 8, 2019-Kirinyaga Governor Ann Waiguru has finally broken her silence after discrepancies were noted on her county budget in 2018/2019 financial year.

In a statement, Waiguru denied claims that her county spent millions on State House Affairs, adding that the allegations are intended to mislead Kenyans.

She blamed the 'fishy' audit report mess on the Integrated Financial Management Information System (IFMIS) at the Henry Rotich’s Treasury.

She insisted that her county followed proper procedures and generated correct IFMIS reports from the financial period in question.

"In response to allegations in certain media that the County Government of Kirinyaga purportedly spent money on “State House affairs” in the 2017-2018 financial year, I wish to categorically state that these claims are obviously untrue, unfounded, and intended to grossly mislead the public for malicious purposes," Waiguru's post read in part.

Waiguru called for immediate apology from the National Treasury and resignation of the IFMIS director as soon as possible.
