New IG HILLARY MUTYAMBAI shocks the corrupt police in his first speech after taking oath of office-See what he told them?

Monday April 8, 2019-The new Inspector General of Police, Hillary Nzioka Mutyambai, has put all corrupt police officers on notice during his first speech after being sworn in.

Mutyambai strongly indicated that fighting corruption will be one of his top priorities as he took over from Joseph Boinnet whose four-year term ended on March 11, 2019.

He thanked President Uhuru Kenyatta for giving him the opportunity to serve Kenyans and promised to join hands in the ongoing war against graft.

He stated he will fully support the ongoing graft purge and that the police will play its enforcement role in a non-partisan manner and in accordance with the law.

"I am fully in support of the ongoing fight against corruption in the country, and I want to be very clear; we must all join hands in the fight against the vice.”

“We as the National Police Service, we will play our enforcement role in a non-partisan manner guided by high fidelity in the law," the new police boss said.
