My phone has ceased ringing after UHURU sacked me – Ex-CS RICHARD ECHESA reveals the agony he is undergoing after he was fired like a dog

Monday April 1, 2019 - Former Sport and Culture Cabinet Secretary, Richard Echesa, has revealed the tribulations he is undergoing one month after he was sacked by President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Echesa was sacked by Uhuru on March 1st and replaced with Amina Mohammed.

Addressing mourners during the burial of former Acting Managing Director of Nzoia Sugar, Micheal Kulundu, on Saturday, Echesa revealed how a lot of his friends and Western Kenya leaders have abandoned him.

“The day I left office, my phone literally ceased to ring.”

“My “friends” had moved on.”

“I found myself checking my phone to establish if I had inadvertently put it off.”

“The phone was fine,” Echesa told a local daily.

Echesa also accused Uhuru of plotting to kill the sugar industry in Western Kenya.

The former CS said the bilateral agreement between President Kenyatta and his Ugandan counterpart, Yoweri Museveni, allowed Uganda to export milk and eggs to Kenya and increase the annual sugar import quota from Uganda.

He says this was bound to hurt the agricultural sector in Western Kenya.

“They want to sell the companies just like they did with Pan-Paper which was sold to Rai who has since converted it into go-downs to store his sugar.”

“Uhuru lied to Museveni when he asked him about the Pan-Paper mill, that it was being revived when he knows very well that he sold it to his friend,” said Echesa.

Highly placed sources said Echesa was sacked over incompetence and leaking Cabinet secrets to his friends and prostitutes.
