Thursday April 25, 2019-Chief Justice David Maraga was among senior government officials who paid a visit to former President Daniel Moi at his Kabarak home to condole with him following the death of his eldest son, Jonathan Moi.
According to photos that went viral on Thursday, the former President seemed to have received a number of guests in his palatial home.
Baringo Senator, Gideon Moi was seen receiving Wiper Democratic Movement party leader, Kalonzo Musyoka and Peter Kenneth at their Kabarak home.
They were also accompanied by Kitui Senator, Enoch Wambua , Kenya Film and Classification Board (KFCB) CEO, Ezekiel Mutua and Central Organisation of Trade Union Secretary General , Francis Atwoli.
The leaders’ visit comes a day after Deputy President William Ruto was reportedly redirected to visit the home of Jonathan Moi as opposed to personally condole with former President.
It is claimed that DP Ruto intended to visit Moi but his team was not allowed to.
