Kikuyu and money! See what Mt. Kenya bishops plans to do with RUTO even after mainstream churches banned him from dumping his looted money in churches

Friday April 26, 2019-Bishops from Central Kenya are planning to host Deputy President William Ruto this Saturday amid concerns about his looted money that he allegedly dumps in churches in the name of harambees.

Ruto is expected to grace an interdenominational prayer rally in Murang’a County on Saturday.

According to reports, Ruto has been invited to preside over the rally organized by the Mt. Kenya Bishops forum.

Over 150 church leaders are expected to attend the rally at the Kimorori grounds, Kenol town in Murang’a.

Speaking during an interview, Mt Kenya Bishops Forum Chairperson Stephen Maina said the prayer rally will focus on national cohesion and integration.

He revealed that bishops will also pray for DP Ruto who he says has been facing ‘undue criticism and Opposition’ from some quarters.

Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro, a close ally of DP Ruto confirmed the meeting and his attendance.

“It is a prayer and thanksgiving rally Saturday. Nothing much, we don’t know at what time he will attend but the event starts at 10 am to 2 pm,” Nyoro said.
