Saturday, April 27, 2019- Baringo Senator Gideon Moi is on the receiving end from Kenyans over the manner in which he received DP Ruto during the funeral of his brother, Jonathan Moi.
The Deputy President is one of the high profile guests invited for the final send off of the former Rally Driver who succumbed to Pancreatic Cancer.
Other leaders present at the funeral service held at Kabarak University include; Musalia Mudavadi, Moses Wetangula, a host of leaders from Rift Valley and Senate Speaker Kenneth Lusaka among others.
However, all eyes were on DP Ruto whose rivalry with Gideon is well documented.
When the DP arrived and proceeded to the tent, he stretched out his hand to greet Gideon but the Baringo Senator seemed disinterested and Kenyans have accused him of being ‘Childish’ and ‘immature’
Gideon moi has to swallow his pride. The way he handled his brother's demise to gain political mileage is unfortunate. Worst of all, he exuded immaturity by refusing to greet his Exellency dp.we don't blame you, u don't know kalenjin culture, differences don't go beyond death— Kips (@Kips54320668) April 27, 2019
Gideon Moi refusing to greet William Ruto at his brother's funeral makes him too immature to even think of Presidency.— George Ashioya (@GAshioya) April 27, 2019
AUTHORITY is given to those who recognise AUTHORITY. When an old man Bishop YEGO can rise to authority and a younger man GIDEON MOI sits tells alot. #JonathanMoiSendoff pic.twitter.com/ynVVAKRkyn— Magical Kenyans (@MagicalKenyans) April 27, 2019
