YVONNE OKWARA is bold and courageous – see what she told RUTO’s girl for using “asshole” word in a church pulpit

Friday March 29, 2019-Citizen TV journalist, Yvonne Okwara Matole, has continued to show her unmatched journalistic skills after she scolded a vocal Jubilee Senator for uttering inappropriate words at a church service.

In January, Nakuru Senator, Susan Kahika told a church gathering that “An opinion is like an asshole, everybody has one. Kwa hivotuwache kila mtu awachwe alete (So we should let everyone have) their own opinion."

Kihika made the comments after former Gatanga MP, David Murathe said Mt Kenya region will not support Ruto in 2022.

Giving her take on Citizen TV News Gang on Thursday, Okwara defined a church pulpit as a sacred place and a point of contact with the heavens and accused Kihika of defiling it.

Okwara highlighted highlighted the verse that was behind Kihika, Mathew 3:16 that read “As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him."

Referring to Senator Kihika's slur, the hard-hitting news presenter commented: "I don't want to imagine what the heavens thought of those words."

Kihika, who is a close confidante of Deputy President William Ruto, is yet to apologise over her remarks.
