Why DP RUTO may surrender himself to DCI, GEORGE KINOTI, for grilling over 21 billion dams’ scandal-He must come clean

Monday March 4, 2019-Deputy President William Ruto has been advised to surrender himself at the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) offices and provide all the information he has with regard to the multi-billion Arror and Kimwarer dams’ scandal.

This comes after the DP categorically stated no money meant for construction of the two dams in Elgeyo-Marakwet county was lost as was being alleged by the DCI and other leaders and that only KSh 7 billion is still unaccounted for.

But, speaking yesterday, Tiaty MP, William Kamket, asked Ruto to stop politicising the dams’ scandal and instead book an appointment with DCI boss George Kinoti to share what he knows.

"Investigation into the scandal is already underway. If you (Ruto) have any information, take it to the DCI. Don't tell us only KSh 7 billion...All we want to see are dams and water," Kamket, a member of the KANU party, fired at Ruto.
