Toi Market fire was not an accident! RAILA now claims as he reveals who started the fire that saw millions go up in flames - He knows them too well

Tuesday March 12, 2019 - Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has sensationally claimed that the fire which broke out in Toi Market in Kibra on Tuesday morning was not an accident.

Speaking at the scene shortly after the dawn tragedy, Raila said unscrupulous businessmen set the stalls on fire with the sole intention of grabbing the land if they are not stopped.

The former area MP stated that he was sure the piece of land on which Toi Market sits has been earmarked for grabbing.

"This market was razed down intentionally.”

“Right now there are people who grab any piece of land they spot anywhere.”

“I am sure these land grabbers are behind the Toi Market fire then use police officers to drive traders out," Raila told traders.

The former PM ordered Nairobi Governor, Mike Sonko, to revert the management of the market to the County Government to address cases of mysterious infernos resulting to job losses.

"I have called Sonko; he will be here in a moment.”

“I asked him to let County Government manage this market so that such cases can be reduced.”

“The Governor will be here to rebuild stalls," he added.
