RAILA now warns RUTO of dire consequences if he won’t stop intimidating DCI KINOTI and DPP HAJI in the war against corruption

Monday March 25, 2019 - The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Party Leader, Raila Odinga, and Deputy President William Ruto continued to trade barbs over the ongoing war on corruption with each accusing the other of interference in the anti-graft fight.

Raila warned Ruto of dire consequences for frustrating the fight against graft by defending and shielding graft suspects.

He particularly faulted the DP for openly attacking the Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) George Kinoti, and the DPP Noordin Haji, for doing their work.

“The institutions charged with dealing with graft must not be vilified by politicians for doing their job.”

“We should resist such attempts and respect the institutions," stated Raila while on a tour of Wajir County on Saturday.

On the other hand, Ruto appeared to suggest that the ODM leader was taking advantage of the corruption purge to settle political scores, something he vowed will not succeed.
