Kibra MP KEN OKOTH now gives updates on his fight with cancer which has evidently taken a toll on him-Look? Only prayers can save him

Tuesday March 12, 2019-After being diagnosed with stage four colorectal cancer and began treatment in 2018, Kibra MP, Kenneth Okoth, has fallen off the radar perhaps to concentrate on his treatment.

Going public about his condition in February, Okoth explained that since the cancer was discovered at a very advanced stage, it could only be managed and not cured.

He has since undergone combined radio and chemotherapy in a bid to manage the disease.

However, on Tuesday, a concerned citizen sought to find out how the MP was fairing on with the treatment.

"Mheshimiwa Okoth, how are you fairing? You crossed my mind today. Am praying for your quick recovery," the user by the name Wambui tweeted.

In response, Okoth stated that he was fighting on even though the drugs he was taking had taken a toll on his body.

"Napambana na hali yangu kabisa. (I'm dealing with it). Chemo drugs are brutal on the skin and immunity system." he replied.

The Kibra MP was forced to seek treatment in Europe since Kenya has very few facilities that provide care for advanced cancer.
