Here is the number of Kenyans who have died in ETHIOPIA AIRLINE jet crash that killed 157 – We send condolences to the families and relatives

Sunday March 10, 2019-Ethiopia Airlines has released the identities of the casualties of the Ethiopia airline flight that crashed shortly after takeoff from Addis Ababa on Sunday morning.

In a statement on Sunday afternoon, a spokesman for Ethiopian Airlines said among the dead are 32 Kenyans and 17 Ethiopians.

The spokesman said that 31 other nationalities were among those who perished in the crash that happened 60 kilometres from Addis Ababa.

The cause of the crash of the new Boeing 737-8 MAX plane is not immediately known.

Meanwhile President Uhuru Kenyatta has condoled with families and friends of the 157 people who perished in the Ethiopian plane crash earlier Sunday.

“We are saddened by the news of an Ethiopian Airlines passenger aircraft that is reported to have crashed 6 minutes after takeoff en route to Kenya. My prayers go to all the families and associates of those on board,” Uhuru tweeted on Sunday.
