Ex-Sports CS RASHID ECHESA troubles continue as DCI KINOTI now seeking to arrest him over money laundering barely a week after he was sacked

Tuesday March 5, 2019-Embattled former Sports CS, Rashid Echesa, troubles continue even after he was sacked unceremoniously from the Cabinet by President Uhuru Kenyatta last week.

This is after Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) launched investigations into Echesa over his alleged connection to money laundering activities in the country.

DCI have linked Echesa to the sh32 billion fake money discovered in a house allegedly belonging to the CS in Ruiru.

According to a sleuth privy to the probe, the sacked CS was in constant communication with Joseph Waswa, the man who mimicked President Uhuru Kenyatta and conned people and who is at the center of money laundering business in Kenya.

Detectives are trying to establish if the former CS visited the building where the fake currency was found.

They also want to establish the relationship between the former Echesa and Cameroonian, Peter Longa, who was extradited from the country in 2018 over money laundering.
