CS EUGENE WAMALWA on the chopping board over the 21 billion Arror and Kimwarer dams’ scandal as DCI squeeze information from him

Thursday March 14, 2019-Devolution Cabinet Secretary (CS), Eugene Wamalwa, was on Thursday called in for questioning over the Arror and Kimwarer dam scandal at the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) headquarters.

DCI boss, George Kinoti, is in pursuit of the truth regarding claims that some government officials received lucrative kickbacks from contractors.

Agriculture CS, Mwangi Kiunjuri, is also set to appear separately for questioning at the DCI headquarters on Kiambu road at around 10.30 a.m.

This comes even as it emerges that the contractors handed out the large sums of money to top Government officials, including the CSs, in order to get the tenders for the building of the dams.

Treasury CS, Henry Rotich, has already been questioned extensively by DCI investigators for 4 days over the course of last week over the scandalous dams, while Kerio Valley Development Authority (KVDA) Managing Director, David Kimosop, was grilled for two days.
