Caught on Camera! The moment a JAGUAR attacked a LADY who wanted to take selfie with it in a zoo (VIDEO)

Monday, March 11, 2019 - A middle aged woman is fighting for her life after she was attacked by a Jaguar in Zoo.

From the footage shared on social media, the woman climbed a barrier and went too close to the big cat to take a selfie.

The animal grabbed the woman's arm with its paw, leaving her with cuts which required medical attention.

The incident took place in the big cat's enclosure at Wildlife World Zoo, Aquarium and Safari Park near Phoenix, Arizona, US, on Saturday.

The owner of the facility, Mickey Ollson, confirmed that the same jaguar scratched another guest who had crossed the barrier to its enclosure, saying "there's no way to fix people crossing barriers".

He added:

"We put substantial barriers there and if people cross them, they can get in trouble."
