UHURU is going nowhere after 2022 that’s why he has engaged RAILA to help him repel RUTO and retain his powers

Wednesday February 6, 2019-Renowned political commentator, Peter Kagwanja, has cautioned people anticipating President Uhuru Kenyatta's retirement in 2022 of a big shocker coming their way.

Speaking on Monday, Kagwanja argued that though Uhuru is expected to retire in 2022, he is very unlikely to exit active politics and might stick to power even after 2022 General Elections.

He noted that the March 9th handshake is part of Uhuru’s larger scheme to repel Deputy President William Ruto in order to retain the trappings of power after 2022.

He warned politicians awaiting to succeed Uhuru from Rift Valley and Central Kenya that they are in for a rude shock as the Head of State is not going anywhere.

"There is nothing like Kenyatta succession in Kenya and in Mt Kenya region. He is going nowhere and people expecting his exit should get something else to do," argued Prof. Kagwanja.

“He is very young, Kenyan leaders never retire until age forces them. People should expect to see him unite with Raila and bring in a new thing that will keep them active for some more years," advised Kagwanja.
