See how Somalis in Kenya are selfish- They can’t help “other Kenyans” who were killed in DUSITD2 terrorist attack!

Monday February 4,2019-Questions have been raised over a fundraiser by members of the Somali community that raised Sh 30 million to assist two Somalis who were killed in last month’s DusitD2 terrorist attack where 21 people were slaughtered by Al Shabaab militants.

The fundraiser, which was held on Saturday, raised Sh 30 million and Kamukunji MP, Yusuf Hassan and Wajir Women Representative Fatuma Gedi were the chief guests.

The fundraising was for the families of Abdalla Dahir (33) and Feisal Ahmed (31) who were both killed by the militants.

Abdalla was a photographer while Feisal just started a family and left behind a wife who was seven months pregnant.

In the fundraiser, MPs from Somali community contributed Sh 21 million while the rest was contributed online through GoFundMe.

Now there are murmurs among other Kenyans who questioned why the Somali members refused to help other Kenyans who were killed in the Dusit complex attack.

“All Kenyans participated in GoFundMe and it was not a Somali community affair.” Argued Isaac Macharia.

“Why would they help Somalis who were killed yet there are other Kenyans who were killed during the attack that is being silly and selfish,” Mark Ndane wrote on Facebook.
