SAKAJA comes to the rescue of DusitD2 attack victim whom WILLIAM RUTO duped in broad daylight - No one deserves this Mr. DP

Monday February 11, 2019 - Nairobi Senator, Johnson Sakaja, has promised to clear a Ksh 100,000 medical bill for Emmanuel Omalla, a delivery man who was caught in the crossfire last month during the DusitD2 terror attack.

This is after Deputy President William Ruto lied to him that the Government would clear his medical bill and those of other victims of the attack only for him to go back on his word.

Omalla had struck a deal with the Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH), which would see him clear his medical bill by paying Ksh3,000 every month for the next two years and four months.

More so, he disclosed that he had been forced to stay in the hospital for ten days until he paid Ksh15,000 for him to be discharged.

Two days after he had been admitted at KNH, Ruto assured Kenyans that the Jubilee Government will foot the medical bills of all victims that didn't have medical insurance as he visited them in the hospital.

But to his dismay, the 21-year-old Omalla was informed by the hospital that he would have to cater for his medical bills himself because the Government only paid bills for national disaster victims.

His father, Paul Omalla, also expressed disappointment in the Government when he was told that he had to foot his son's medical bill.
