UHURU is useless and has killed Central Kenya economy – JUBILEE MP says and supports MOSES KURIA’s jibe against the president.

Thursday January 3, 2019-Leaders in Central Kenya have supported sentiments made by Gatundu South MP, Moses Kuria, who on New Year’s Eve accused the president of ignoring the region and developing areas that voted for opposition.

Kuria, who appeared tipsy like a pig, told Thika town residents that Uhuru has neglected Muranga ,Kiambu , Kirinyaga, Nyandarua , Laikipia, Meru ,Tharaka Nithi and Embu counties which are his strongholds.

“As we enter 2019, you (voters) must think … our responsibility is not just to vote and after voting, we (the government that we form) take development to other regions. That kind of nonsense must stop,” Kuria said.

“We want the President to also commission water projects, roads and electricity when he comes here. We were with him in Kisumu where he commissioned a road project, but when he visits (Kiambu) he only issues certificates to recovering alcoholics,”Kuria added.

Kuria's sentiments have been supported by some leaders from Central Kenya who said the Gatundu South lawmaker spoke the painful truth that many leaders from the region are afraid to speak.

A vocal MP, who requested anonymity, said the government is “targeting” sectors that directly impact locals including transport, imports and real estate.

“If the government cripples these sectors and does not improve others like coffee and tea, then it has killed our people economically. Why did we vote for Jubilee only to make us poorer?”the MP posed.

  1. Hon Kuria is 101 % true forget fools like waititu and wamuchomba, we wasted our votes for other areas which never voted for Jubilee to benefit.Call a spade a spade not a big spoon.
