Shock as RAILA turns against his friend DAVID MARAGA! Stop colluding with the corrupt and glorifying graft; you are the stumbling block

Friday January 11, 2019-Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has castigated the Judiciary, accusing it of being the stumbling block in the fight against corruption.

Speaking yesterday during a public lecture at the University of Nairobi, Raila warned the Chief Justice David Maraga – led Judiciary to stop glorifying corruption and deal with it as it is.

He decried the manner in which the courts were letting corruption suspects off the hook with very small bail, saying such will not help eradicate the vice.

The former PM further discouraged the Judiciary from allowing public servants facing corruption charges from being allowed to return to work.

He explained that by doing so, courts were paving the way for them to interfere with the evidence.

President Uhuru Kenyatta had also earlier accused Maraga and his officers of colluding with corruption suspects to defeat justice by letting the off the hook easily.
