Shock as it emerges UHURU has not spoken or met RUTO in a long time amid tension-This is serious and their political marriage may be over

Saturday January 12, 2019-President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto are yet to meet for more than three weeks amid brewing tensions within Jubilee Party that was sparked by former Jubilee Party Vice Chairman, David Murathe.

Murathe has vowed to block Ruto’s 2022 Presidential bid by any means necessary and would go even to the Supreme Court if need be.

According to sources, Ruto has been missing in most of Uhuru’s function recently and the President seems not to be bothered at all.

Ruto, who is known to flank the Head of State during his public addresses, was notably missing at the rebranding of Mama Ngina drive in Mombasa, and the recent press conference where he announced the new price of maize, sparking further debate on their relationship ever since Uhuru shook hands with Opposition leader Raila Odinga.

The sources further revealed that a meeting that was scheduled between the two was also aborted in unclear circumstances.

“There is little communication between the two.”

“There is some mistrust between them,” said a source.

While Uhuru has been busy bromancing with Raila at the Coast, Ruto has been juggling between his Karen home and his house in Sugoi.
