KALENJIN MP reveals exactly what RUTO needs to do to revive his 2022 presidential bid – He has already lost the Kikuyu vote

Monday January 14, 2019-A vocal Kalenjin community MP has said Deputy President William Ruto may fail to win the 2022 presidential race because of poor politicking.

In an interview with a local daily on Saturday, Emurrua Dikkir MP, Johanna Ngeno, said Ruto must change the mode of politicking if he wants to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2022.

The MP said Ruto’s trouble started in 2017 during Jubilee Party primaries when he rigged out notable leaders thinking that this will help him have smooth ascent to power in 2022.

“He fought independent-minded people who would have now come in handy. He thought he would succeed without them,” Ngeno said.

He advised the DP to fall back and embrace the people he has been fighting or risk going into permanent political collapse.

“He should retreat and embrace the people he ignored and spent his time fighting if he wants to succeed," Ngeno noted.
