Between UHURU and his late Father, Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, who rocked the military tunic better? (PHOTOs)

Wednesday, December 12, 2018- President Uhuru Kenyatta on Wednesday led Kenyans in the 55th Jamhuri Day celebrations wearing the Kenya Army ceremonial outfit, the Red Tunic, as Commander in Chief.

According to State House, Uhuru’s outfit was in line with the trooping of the color led by the 17th Battalion Kenya Rifles.

This was the first time the Head of State had rocked the military regalia during a national day celebration.

However, this trend was set by the founding President Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, who is also Uhuru’s father, several decades ago.

On several occasions, Mzee Jomo Kenyatta was photographed in the red and the gold tunic.
