JACQUE MARIBE’s lover, JOWIE, agrees Justice WAKIAGA to proceed with case even after labeling him a slay queen and a woman eater.

Tuesday November 27, 2018 - Murder suspect, Joseph Irungu alias Jowie, has withdrawn a suit at the JSC seeking High Court Justice James Wakiaga to recuse himself from his case where he is facing murder charges for killing Monica Kimani in September.

Initially, Jowie had said Wakiaga shouldn't hear his case because he has shown open bias and already assumed him guilty before evidence is tendered.

But on Tuesday, Jowie who is cooling his heels in Kamiti Maximum Prison said he made the move without proper consultation and said he had withdrawn his petition at the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) asking for the recusal of Wakiaga.

Irungu, together with his TV journalist and fiancé, Jacque Maribe, are accused of killing businesswoman Monica Kimani on September 19th.

The two were arrested but Jacque was released on a Sh 2 million bond and Jowie was denied bail by Justice Wakiaga.
