Has Governor OKOTH OBADO finally realised he can’t fight the system and win? See what he did today in Migori
County Politics, News 06:06

Tuesday November 20, 2018-Embattled Migori Governor, Okoth Obado,
has reported to work amid warm reception from his workers at the County.
However, unlike in the past when the county boss documented his itinerary and made
waves upon his return, Obado, who is staring at two separate charges in the
face, quietly returned to Migori for the first time after his second arrest and
subsequent release on Friday, November 16.
Obado arrived at Migori County Headquarters’ in company
of his driver only and was welcomed by Deputy Governor, Nelson Mwaita, and
other members of the County Cabinet.
The Governor, who is facing charges of being in
possession of illegal firearms, was granted a bond of KSh 500,000 with a surety
of a similar amount or a cash bail of KSh 200,000 by Kibera Chief Magistrate
Joyce Gandani despite protestations from the State Prosecutor.
