World mourns with Kenya as UN boss sends condolence message to UHURU over yesterday’s tragic accident that claimed 56

Thursday October 11, 2018-The United Nations Secretary General, António Guterres, has joined Kenyans and leaders who sent their condolence messages to families of those bereaved following the tragic accident at Fort Ternan in Kericho County.
In his condolence message released by his Spokesman, Stephane Dujarric, the UN Secretary General stated that he was deeply saddened by the accident which claimed the lives of 56 people.
“The Secretary-General extends his heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathy to the bereaved families, the survivors and the Government and people of Kenya,” Dujarric stated.
This comes even as police in Kakamega arrested Cleophas Toto Shimanyula and Bernard Ishindu Shitiabayi, who are the owners of the bus which was ferrying passengers from Nairobi to Kakamega before the horrific accident.
Police also impounded vehicles belonging to Western Cross Roads Sacco which the ill-fated bus belonged to.
